I'm seeing that there is a release of k2 v2.6.1 that fixes several bugs and the best, which is compatible with joomla 1.5.

I have installed the 2.54 k2 on joomla 1.5 k2 I would like to update the new release, I would like to explain to me how I can do this in the best way.

Hi. K2 2.6.x has a lot of changes in order to add compatibility with Joomla! 3.0. This means that if your site use any K2 related extensions you need to update them also. I would recommend to first update to K2 2.5.7 and then to K2 2.6.1. In any case remember to backup your files and database in case something goes wrong.
