Hi,

I want to show users the terms and conditions of usage on my website. I want to inform them what will get them banned, erased as a user.

Unfortunately, I don't see anywhere where you can configure the K2 user registration module to show extra info like that. Where can I configure this?
This is not about extra fields to fill out, but more like displaying info, is there a way around this, to define where the user registration dialog gets shown, can this be embedded in a item/page maybe?

I'm grateful for any pointers.

Poke around
modules/mod_k2_user/tmpl/login.php
and see if you add code there what happens
If it works consider overriding the module

Thanks for the tip, I hoped not to have to hardcode this. This would be a really essential feature, to be able to configure user registration, as pretty much any site will have terms of use. And where else can you prominently show these that the user will agree with when he registers?

Hmmm,

do you think embedding the module (the K2 user registration /login dialog) in an item would do what I need it to do, so I can write some text around that? Would that work?
I need it to do multi language, so that might solve that problem more elegantly.

Works like a charm, just implemented it. Works with K2 the same, as it seems to be basic Joomla functionality:

I just did two modules, for the two languages and embed them from two items.
