I am trying to show k2 featured items on the front page
and fill the items with just a part of the front page.

I have googled but cannot figure out how to do so.
I found the way that showing only featured items and the items cover full of the front page.

However, I want to show the k2 featured items below the regular joomla article.
In addition, I want the joomla article to be fixed and do not want it to be removed from this position.

I will be glad if you could help me!

You can make use of the K2 Content Module and publish it at a module position that you want.

I have tried as what you wrote for me and it worked!!
Although my templates does not allow me to put the items exactly where I want, it is not k2 problem.
