Hi to all, i did exactly what is written in instructions:

copied the content of the folder /components/com_k2/templates/ and pasted it into /templates/MYJOOMLATEMPLATE/html/com_k2/nameofmytemplate

i also tried to copy it in /templates/MYJOOMLATEMPLATE/html/com_k2/templates/nameofmytemplate

and then i setted the correct template in k2 category, i looked also in database and i saw that the theme is associated but i can't see any modification, even if i delete a lot of code in my template.

I don't have any SEO module (i red a message on this formum where the problem was that)

What can it be???

the correct path to copy to is
YourSiteRoot/templates/YourTemplate/html/com_k2/templates/YourOverrideDirectoryName

Yes, this is my path: Joomla/templates/templatename/html/com_k2/templates/progetti/item.php

Joomla because my site isn't in the root of the site, could is that the problem?

I also tried to rename the default template in components/com_k2/templates/item.php to see what happend, even if i delete this item,php file and that one in Joomla/templates/templatename/html/com_k2/templates/progetti/ i can't see any differences, am i stupid?? how could it be? :blink:

Ok i found the problem, it is the plugin K2MultiImages_1.1_K2_2.5.7 very big problem for me!!

FINALLY SOLVED!!!

That plugins override itself the template, you have to edit the template file of the plugin that are in /plugins/system/k2multiimages/K2MultiImages/templates/
