[SOLVED] Issues after updating was created by Steve Hare
I updated to K2 v2.6.1 yesterday and now I have noticed several problems I can't fix:

1. Nothing happens when I click the add new item button. To add a new item I have to go into an older item and click Save and Add New.
2. Comments aren't working, so I disabled for now.
3. I can't save my parameters but the cancel button works.

I'm using Joomla 1.5.26.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Can anyone help with this? I'm finding more problems...

I also can't delete users.

It has to be some sort of conflict with scripting but I can't figure it out.

Hi. Try to use the SVN version of K2 at getk2.org/assets/svn/. If your issues are not resolved, let us know. Also provide some more information like errors displayed on the screen etc.

I installed the SVN version. This is what my version now shows:

K2 v2.6.2 | Copyright © 2006-2012 JoomlaWorks Ltd.

The first thing I tried was to add a new item and it didn't work.

I'm not actually getting errors, it just won't work properly.

For instance, I can't add a new item.

I can't save the parameters as nothing happens when I click save but the cancel button will close the parameters window.

I can select users, but I can't delete them.

It just seems that the icons in the menu bar aren't functioning properly.

A little more info on the issues I'm encountering:

I went back in to delete some users to see if it was working.

I can choose the users I want to delete and when I click the delete button I get the popup window warning me that I'm about to delete the users forever.

I click OK, the window closes, but nothing else happens.

The users I selected remain as do the check marks I previously placed next to the users I wanted to delete.

It seems like you have a JavaScript conflict. Please check your browser for JavaScript errors. Also ensure that jQuery gets loaded.

I'm not very familiar with scripting.

1. How do I determine what if any javascript errors I have and how do I fix them?
2. Same with JQuery?

In my template, I have an option to enable JQuery. It is enabled. Are there other places to look?

Thanks so much for taking the time to help.

Hi. K2 also has an option for jQuery handling. You can see the errors at your browser's console.

I'm sure the issue had to do with scripting, but I couldn't figure it out.

I migrated to Joomla 2.5 and all is well.

Thanks for the help.
