Front end editing was created by MIXXMEDIA INC
We'd like to be able to set the front end editor for the K2 designated articles only.. not our core Joomla pages.
Does this make sense?

We don't want every registered user to be able to edit every page on our site.

How/where do we adjust this setting.

thanks

this is a good starting point
getk2.org/documentation/tips-a-tricks/item/201-allowing-users-to-submit-content
K2 does not allow editing of joomla articles from the front end

Thanks William, that helps.

We've used Joomla and numerous extensions for years now, but never K2. We're using it as a document upload/download repository, and went through a few variations using ZOO Download Archive, DOCman, and jDownload. All had some if the features we needed, but most fell short. Hoping K2 will fulfill our needs.

Would like to figure out how categories and items display their info a little better, as the default settings seem to set everything to yes and therefore (at least in our case) it presents too much (unwanted) info.

goto the category and change most of the things on the right in each view to hide
check out the videos and the tips in the documentation section to learn about overrides and content display
