First, thanks to everybody who contributes answers. The environment it nice, but often confusing and your help is really appreciated.

Have been using JOOMLA for about four years and it took a while to really understand it... now that I'm conversant I really like it.

I'm new to K2 and have created a new site using JOOMLA! 3.0 -

1. When I create a new item and want to set various options like display author, creation date, etc. I go to the sidebar and open up the options section.

2. I can see the option titles; created date/time, title, etc.

3. Can't see or click into the area that would allow me to select/deselect. All I see is is a small rounded box. If I attempt to click into it I get an "magnifying glass" icon. Can't toggle anything, can't see anything.

Have I done something wrong? How can I reach the toggle?
