In the smart search the results are displaying Advanced Search options though this is set to hidden. There was also a plan for K2 to offer an ajax based mechanism to track page hits using javascript when using Joomla cache system. Will this ever be implemented?

Cache has a huge affects on item ordering setting "Most Popular" and hits. This is very important front end tool for measuring "attention" and transparency. Will there be a Javascript fix for the Cache issue anytime soon?

Hi. K2 does not affect smart search. If you set the advanced search options to be hidden and they are not, then probably this is an issue of smart search and not K2. Regarding the hits i cannot tell for sure about the JavaScript implementation.
