Altering Blog List Layout was created by Web Guy
Hi All.

I have setup a template override and have had a look around in the user.php file.

I wish to have a layout where the image uploaded is on the left like it is now, BUT, the date, title, intro text, read more, are sitting to the right of the image. I do not want the date and title above the image, and the readmore living below. (Length of intro text not withstanding)

I have tried to do what I thought would be easier, and move the readmore code, it did niot seem to have any effect on where it sits.

Has someone created a layout just like this and can give me some pointers please.

Cheers

If you do not see changes, the override directory may not be correct...

Hi William

I have a single category in K2, when I go into the properties for that category, it "sees" my "blog" template override, so I am assuming that once I set that, it would use those files etc.

I have the menu set to display a user blog list, so, perhaps, that is why it is ignoring it?

I'll try and add some rubbish soon and see what happens.

Cheers

OK, so, it is ignoring the files in the "blog" folder and still loading the files in the default folder in the override I have setup.

If there is a fix great, but since this is the only thing being listed, I can live with modifying the default user.php file etc.

OK, I got everything where it is needed at least, probably a bunch of clears hanging out where they should not be, but it still looks ok.
