Hi,
I'm just setting up K2 2.6.2 in a v1.5.23 install and am having the same problem.
I have user group created and a user assigned to it but no option to select that user when creating the menu item.

Copy the link from the K2_user or users module and put it into a external url type

Thanks for your suggestion but when I try that the menu alias (/blog) from a hidden menu it goes to a 404 error.
Is there a way to have it working via a SEF url?

I may have missunderstood your question
the k2_users module supplies a link to the user page along with a few other links
turn off sef
activate the k2 user login module
copy the link that goes to the logged in users page and put it into a new menu item
it should go that users page
turn sef back on
as i said, i may be misunderstanding what you are trying to do

William I am having the exact same issue since upgrading to 2.6.6. While your suggestion is a nice fix it doesn't address the problem. We have setup a template to display blog pages of the users and your fix ignores those templates and uses the default template. Do I just need to edit the default template to look like our custom one? Thanks in advance.

Hello Carlos why don't you just select the K2 User Menu item?
