Hi, I need to modify items from frontend, but I can't.
I created the group and the user from backend, and I enabled the frontend edit, but now I can only insert new article. In existing article after login I can show the "Edit article + Title", but I can't click on Edit article and there isn't a another button for this edit.

You can see an example in the attachment:
1) on left sidebar there's the link for Add a new anrticle and it works.
2) before article title there's "Modifica articolo" (=Edit Article) + Title.

How can I solve this? Thank you!

There is something wrong with your edit item link, if you upgraded k2 did you get the new template files?

K2 is full upgraded ...

Same problem here....
Using Joomla 2.5.8 with JCE Editor 2.3.1 and K2 v2.6.2
When using the default Joomla template, the EDIT button is there and functioning.
When switching to the Rockettheme template Ionosphere, same things happens: Article title changes into "Edit item article title" , not clickable.

Switched to Rockettheme template Ximenia, problem solved!

The problem is probably in the template makers k2 override files
