I've just installed version 2.6.2 of K2 in my Joomla 2.5.8 site.

After upgrading, my main menu (linking to K2 categories) isn't working anymore!!

All other menu items are fine, except k2 menu items. I just get a blank page and even when setting error reporting to maximum in global configuration, I can't see any message.

K2 items are accessible but menu items for categories are not.

Can you help me? This is really strange.

Even more strange: K2 menu items work ***sometimes*** but not always.

IN the itmes check the created by, modified by, and access to be sure those values are correct.
Did you have k2 overrides in place before upgrade? did you update the override files to the correct version as per - getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/item/77-k2-template-override-package-comparison

Thanks for your help, I've checked everything again, and it all seems correct.

But K2 menu items don't work anyhow. The only K2 menu item working for me is k2 latest items.

I did have template overrides and uploaded the new files to the server, I was unaware of those. Now, my template customizations are gone, but I should be able to reconfigure them again.

Any idea about what I can do to solve this?

I've also created new k2 menu items for categories and even then they don't work...

The CSS for the overrides is being ignored.

This is frustrating...

It sounds like you have a K2 plugin that breaks the page...

Could you try disabling it / them ?

Thanks but sitll nothing, it worked for 2 days and now it's broken again, without any changes to the site.

I have a few thousand k2 items organised into categories, and now I'm getting blank pages without any error reporting, I've disabled as much plugins as I could but still K2 menu items don't work.

All plugins are disabled, only K2 is running without menu items for categories!
