We are displaying the number of times that an items is read on our website. However the number does not seem to increment correctly. It seems to increment by 3, 4 or 5, not 1. I know there's not that much traffic on our website that an item would increment by that amount whenever I refresh a page.

What can I do to troubleshoot this issue? I don't mind having big numbers but it would be nice to have them accurately reflect the traffic.
