im using k2 in website for our blog, everything is working fine except for the page numbers at the bottom aren't showing... searched all over k2, i failed to find an option to change this, can you guys please help me out?

Are you referring to paginations? By default it is set to auto, see Category Item Layout -> Othe Layout Options - Pagination and Pagination Results

The framework seems to be missing proper CSS for pagination. I added this to the CSS:

.pagination a , .pagination strong{
display: inline-block;
height: 25px;
line-height: 25px;
margin-left: 5px;
padding: 0 5px;
}
