Is it possible to show the user name instead of the real name in the blogs comments when someone reply to a blog.
People on my website dont like to show there real names but would prefer if the user name was showing instead.
ive tried changing the item.php in the templates but it seems to have no effect what so ever. I even deleted this and still nothing happens which i find a bit strange as its meant to control the comments.
Ive also noticed that you cant change the name in the comments box as its greyed out so you have no choice but to post as your real name
My website is pretty new and our developers have no idea why this is the case.
I found a way around this by logging into my Kunena forum and changing the profile name but this changes the real name. I cant ask everyone on my forums to do this as it ends up changing there details at the back end as well.
surely there must be an easier way to do this as most people would prefer to use there username rather than there real name.
For this reason people have decided not to comment on peoples blogs.
