I am having all sorts of problems with images on my Joomla 2.5.8 site with K2 and template 39739. I spent an hour with online chat to resolved some problems (overrides in child categories and items do not work - ticket FAN-913-38591). This related to the image attached to an item for which we found a workaround. There seems to exist an interaction issue between K2 and the template.

The current problem is that I want to insert images into the body of my item. I can see the image in the WYSIWYG editor but the link breaks when I view the page through the site's front-end and all I get is the alt text. I can find no documentation or tutorial which shows how to include images in the body of an item. What I want to do ultimately is, using a table, use small images as links to fire up a Sigplus gallery in a popup. The gallery part works when I click on the alt text. I just need the image to display.

The site will also include feature articles which include mutlple images or different sizes.

Can anyone advise me how to get the images to display?
