I am looking for adding image for k2 item in form of url. I am doing this because I am hosting my pictures in different server and website in different server.


Advantage: site loads faster and shares the bandwidth

Can any one come up with good solution for this..

Hi,

You can either hide the item image and include the url of the image at the beginning of your item description or do a custom plugin that can use the K2BeforeDisplayContent hook to display the image.

Thanks for the tips. I tried to add the image url at the start of the k2 article. It shows the iamge perfect on the article page. But the image is not shown in the category page.

Can you suggest where I am going wrong.
