I am using the Menu type "latest items from category" to set a few blocks on my home page to highlight a few categories.

The issue I am having is that I can't order the items that get displayed in these categories. I have checked that the order is correct in the Category edit page, and I have set their ordering on the Item Manager, but still, it seems, they are being ordered by date, instead of by order.

There isn't an option for ordering on the Menu Item page.

Is there a way to override this via my template? It seems like it should be sorting these by their order, but for some reason, it isn't.
