Hi all,

I have important a huge number of categories. I have about 10-100 items per each category.

To get a better control over module assignments, I need Menu Item for each category.

How can I create so many links to the Joomla Menu in order to control my menu assignments?

Few directions I have...

I thought there is a component for generating menu items for k2 categories but couldn't find any...

Any idea? I spent the entire weekend look for a solution...

may be of help. If you hide the menu, and only use it to exist for the links, the problem in the thread about the formatting wouldnt matter

i would work with database directly, use phpmyadmin and run massive query to create such amount of menu points.

I still can't find a solution for that.

K2 is designed for a huge number of categories, items, tags etc. But the problem is that all the features cannot be useful because Joomla CMS is based on menu items.

If you don't get the menu item link for a category - you cannot assign any different functionality for categories and pages.

Anyone found a solution for that?
