We use a joomla extension to display the social media icons after all our K2 articles.
Unfortunately, the icons are also displayed in the video field when there is no video attached to the articles:

How to remove this empty field and the icons?

you are using j 1.5
what version of k2 are you using?
Do you have an k2 override in place override (if so attach the item.php file
The video block should not display at all if you do not have a video in the item

I'm using Joomla 1.5.26 and K2 2.6.5.
How do I install/active the k2 override?

I think there is a movie about overrides as well in the ostraining videos under documentation

Once you get the override working find both blocks of code and move the entire block where you want it
