Is it possible to migrate a Joomla 1.5 site using Flexicontet (CCK) to a Joomla 2.5 site using K2? Is there a way to import the Flexicontent items/categories/tags into K2?

Does flexicontent have an export feature?
You can use phpmyadmin to get the content from flexi and reformat it and use csv import tool listed here in extensions to move most of it. The images will probably be difficult

Two questions: 1) is there an example of the format needed to convert the data to and 2) would this have to be done table by table and is there any mapping?

There is no export feature that I see. There is a migration extension but it's not picking up the template/type data, which pretty much invalidates everything except the basic "intro" text....thanks!

The csv import tool has an exampe either in the docs or that comes with it. search for csv import here, there is a very long thread that the dev of the extension participates in regularly
