I know how to override the template.. and modify the template.. but it is possible to "override" de css style of k2.css or i need to go inside the component to do this?

because when I update my component.. i need to resubmit my css inside the component...

Have a look at css4k2 at k2joom.com or jiliko.net for override css for each category
You can also put a copy of k2 in your templates css directory

You can use Firebug on Firefox to find which selector you need to change. Then copy it and paste it into your template's css. Next, change to what you want. Firebug can help with check your changes before adding it to the template css file.
