Hey guys,

I am working on re-vamping my website. As of right now the new joomla installation is under a directory from the main domain. For instance: www.feedbubbles.com/joomla

K2 was installed at one time, but then uninstalled. I have nothing against K2, it's just not needed for this site.

In the meantime since K2 has been uninstalled it is really messing up some of the SEF url's in my website. For some reason my jooma menu items are.

Here you can see what I am talking about: www.feedbubbles.com/joomla/tutorial/k2-tags/login-backend

The problem with that url is WHY in the world is k2-tags added when k2 is not installed?

Someone please help and let me know what i need to do.

1. Is it possible the URL is cached? Try clearing your Joomla cache and Internet caches

2. Are you using any SEO components? Delete and re-generate your urls?

3. Do you have a Menu Item that was pointing to K2 (Tags, Categories etc....)

4. Review Components->Redirect, try deleting or Enable/Disable generated links.

Hope this helps.

1. Deleted all Cache, and stopped compression of all javascript and css.

2. Not using and SEO components.

3. Have never created a k2 menu item

4. Made sure that all k2 related components/extensions were deleted.

I'm really not sure what it could be. I even deleted the "tutorials" link on my site and replaced it with a new menu item "tutorial' with all the same settings to try and reset it. That helps with the tutorial link itself but it did not clear its children menu items. I also tried re-creating the children menu items and that did not get rid of the k2 url instance.
