Hoping someone might be able to help me.

I'm running Joomla 2.5 and K2 and all is going well. But I want to include a simple searchable database containing my film reviews. I want visitors to the site to be able to search for a film title and for the film to come up in the search along with my review. Simple stuff - or so I thought.

Searching the web to discover how to do this and looking through extensions, everything tells me I need MySQL, but this software retails at over $1000.

Is there a simple, free (or very cheap) alternative that'll do the job for me?
