Hey all,

Well I found out that many people have or had problems with the resize of K2.

I am using the JA Lens template, I set the K2 categories image settings right but If I upload a image from 800x600 K2 resizes this to (for example) 1200x900

How can I disable this, but that I keep the good resize for the category view?

Try setting the width for xl in the k2 image paramaters to 600 insetad of the default 900

are you using jpg forma
and also are you refering to the xl image size that comes out to 1200 900?
let me know and i will simulate

I use indeed a .jpg format!

I don`t know if Im refering to the XL image, where can I do this? :-)

I tried it also to set parameters in the categories, the width and the heigt. But this doesnt also work!

I haven't tested this senerio, but K2 allows you only to define one dimension when creating its images for items. That is the width. It will re size according to the that and the dimensions of the image you upload. You can set this in the k2 dashboard parameters and it will be global or if you want one category to be different that the others, set it in the category settings.

Hmmm, the image resize is still persists. I set the image parameters in the category.. But K2 is still resizing it into a very large image.

I have the same issue.

I have changed the size of the image in the Item View parameters from Large to xsmall and it makes no difference

I don't know whether u'r using text editor to set an image for the category or not. If so, delete width and height tags of the image which are set when using an editor to insert an Image.
