I am having trouble getting images to show up in the category list view and in the item view. I can see them on the back, but they are not showing up on the front. I can add them to the content section and they will show up in the item view, but not the category view.

Currently using Joomla 3.0, JCE editor. and a variety of plug ins. Any help would be appreciated.

Try going to the category in quesion and setting the item image to show in the "item view in category listings"

It is and the parent category is as well. I have not made any changes to any settings since this install. I have only created 2 categories and 1 item so all of the settings are at default.

I am also getting the same issue I am using the latest 2.5 joomla stable version and the latest stable version of K2 2.6.3
What could be the issue?

Are you using the default joomla template? if not switch to it and be sure theres not an override in place that omits the image in the category_item.php
