I have set up a newspaper article submission process that includes: authors, editors, and publishers. The goal is to use the K2 Add Item submit form for them to submit articles with the Publisher the only one who can "publish".

Problems:

1. The K2 add item form "close" button does not work. It goes nowhere. Writer has to right click the "articles" link button to open the add item into a new window or tab. Save their article, then close that window in order to get back to the website.

2. If a user is logged in, the Publisher and the Super User can not view a locked item until the user logs out.

3. Any user with the rights to edit their item can not do so once an add item window is closed. They have to ask the Publisher to publish the item before they can edit their own document.
