Select flagh as spam field was created by Philip Dobbie
In comments section of K2 I cannot check the Flag as Spam field. I have signed up to Stop Forum Spam, but I assume not information is passed to them until I do this. Is it because K2 comments doesn't seem to be collecting the commentor's IP address?

Hi Phil Dobbie,

I suppose that IP is collected when you are "registred member" but If user is guest... the ip will be not registered.

this is your question?

Well, sort of.

If IP address is only gathered for registered users, and the IP address is needed before you can flag spam to send to StopSpamForum, or to have comments blocked based on the StopSpamForum, then this feature can't be used with non-registered commentors? Is that right? Shame if it is.

Hi Phil,

When I'm looking into administrator/components/com_k2/views/comments/view.html.php

line 59-61 ... i suppose that users are already registered.

:-/ It's maybe bad but K2 has been built like this.

Maybe Someone have another explication..
