Hello !

While in the backend of my site, I changed the Menu Item which was pointing to my K2 User Registration Form via an external url link ( in this case internal url ).

The name change was mostly cosmetic and for seo purposes.

Now I am finding that my registration page shows a red error band where the component was and says ( translated from spanish ) : " There has been an error loading component, 1 component not found."

Again, the rest of the page loads fine, it's just the part where

What the hell happened ? Please help !

Page in question at: www.sipi.com.sv/index.php/es/mi-perfil.html?view=registration

Hi Eduardo,

the good should be :
www.sipi.com.sv/index.php/es/component/users/?view=registration
based from "Ingresar" link.

Best Regards,

Emond, Jean-Philippe

Hi Jean Phillipe.

I appreciate your response.

However, 'Ingresar' is the login link for existing users, not the user registration link. That link is working fine, the user registration is not.

Hi Eduardo,

if you click on my link it's not your "registration Form" ?

Oh ok, I see what you mean Jean Phillipe. That is indeed the registration form, you are right.

What was happening was that the External URL didn't like it if I wrote down my entire URL, but will only work if I write it starting:

index.php?option=com_users&view=registration

This is strange no ? Anyways it's fixed now, thanks Jean Phillipe.
