Temple overrides not loading on "Latest items from (one or more) users or categories"

i have 2 template overrides, both work and display the template overides when i have the menu item selected as "Categories". However when i change the menu Item to a "Latest items from (one or more) users or categories", the templates do not display.

I checked the source code and the template overide CSS files are not loading either.

Any Ideas? Please help?
