I have installed Joomla K2 , but the K2 Control panel is not there!

Hello,

Make sure the K2 Quick Icons (admin) and K2 Stats (admin) administrator modules are published (Using Extensions => Module Manager).
Also clear both Joomla!'s and your browser's cache.
