Hi,
I work with a Gavick Template (NewsII) on Joomla (2.5.8) with K2. Three sites of mine are being attacked by hackers who sell Viagra, bags, etc and use the K2 comments to hide (store) their transactions. The first time it amounted to 1.8 million fields in the database. :evil:

Now I am working on localhost and through Akeeba overwrite the old versions, but it still is B.S. My hosting company blames K2, but I am running the latest version of K2.

Can I remove the K2 comments extension without causing problems anywhere else? And If I update K@ do I get the comments back again? :S

I prefer another solution, but if need be I must delete K2 comments.
