I'm am trying to create a business directory of our suppliers for our company.
We have an external database with basic content of the suppliers (address, phone, etc). This one is updated by an external company.
I'd like to enrich this dataset with our own data of the supplier (rating, statistics, comments, attachments,...)

Is this possbile with K2?
IS it possible to update the external database and pull in the new data?
And combine this with the our own data, stored in K2?

AFAIK, this is possible, but you may need an expert to help you to import your company data into K2.

If you write more information about the format of the databases you have now, I can help you to implement this requirements.

For the moment, I already have a table in Joomla which contains the data of the external database. It is updated via an import of an csv-file of the external database.

What ik like to know is, wil the data be updated in K2 if i do an import of the csv-file directly in the table.
Or is the data kept in an article format?

I know this is possible in ContentBuilder, but styling and development isn't optimal for the moment!

The data will be updated with CSV import, but take care the extra fields need special format to be imported correctly.

Hello.

I'm new to using k2 and i'm wondering how can i make a simple business or hotel directory. I just need some extra fields with contacts, address and description. Some image gallery solution is also a addon that would be appreciated.

How can i achieve this with k2? I think make the categories and the items are easy but how to make a menu link that displays this directory alphabet, like A | B | C | etc....
