Dear forum,

I use k2 component for my joomla site and my issue is that there have been created too many images stored in media/k2/items/cache

I asked for my host provider to split this folder in multiple ones because it contains too many images that I could not even open it via ftp program (filezilla). So, the items could not grab the image from the right folder and as a result there is no image inside my articles (items).

Is there anyway to patch k2 code in order to split cache folder in multiple ones?

Please help me, cause there is a big big problem around that I should address it instantly.

hello, i have the same problem, its a huge problem in k2, i hope they fix it in the future, meanwile i'll try this partial solution posted in this tread
