Hi,
I see that this post is so old but, I also need the menu "Page Title" in the k2 item template and I don't need the k2 item title.
I also see that is marked as fixed in some version, but even if I set the page title to Yes in the menu item, is not displayed.
Is this option removed in k2 2.7.0 ? I use Joomla 3.5.1
Thank you

The version was 2.6.6 from what I can make out of the dates.
Do you mean in the browser's title or the frontend?

Thank you for your answer,
In the tab the title is changed,
I mean the page heading
for example :
k2 Item Title : "Item Title"
Page Heading (in menu item): "Page Heading"
So when I browse the item I should have 2 titles
Is that corret ?

Depends on the template.
If the template has that element, then yes.
If not you have to manually add it in your overrides.

<?php echo $this->escape($this->params->get('page_title')); ?>
