K2 users versus Joomla Users was created by FREDDY
Hello. New to K2 and building a new site....

From what I understand of K2's IMPORT feature is that it makes DUPLICATES of Joomla content/users/etc. So my confusion is around USERS:

Q. If I import users into K2, should I then DELETE those users in Joomla? (aka so that there's only 1 user existing in K2, rather than that same user also existing in Joomla?)

And if I should delete, should I also delete Joomla's Superadministrator user (in favor of the K2 duplicate file)?

And if I shouldn't delete, then should all NEW users be K2 users, Joomla Users or both?

AND IN A NUTSHELL: what is the point of having duplicate users (1 in Joomla + the copy of it in K2??)

?????

You should not delete joomla users, after you install and import your content and users...
each time a new user is created you will have both a joomla user and a k2 user that should say in sync.
The k2 user is used primarily to control access to front end editing of content categories
