I recently deleted the line /images let's see if that helps..
also i wrote disallow: /author/*

The images in K2 are stored under the media folder as i already told you. Not in the images folder. The line you need to delete is the following:
Disallow: /media/

Thank you, i figured it out later and restored the line disallow /images/.
Should i try /item/? So that googlebot crawls only one url per item?
How much time will it take to see if some images are indexed?

No, this is not working like that. You just declare the paths you want to be indexed or not. If you have removed the "Disallow: /media/" then all the media files will be indexed if they are found in the page source. Regarding the time, this is something i cannot tell for sure.
