I have a plugin developed for Joomla!2.5 based on the example plugin.

Trying to migrate to Joomla 3.0 but additional fields are not being recognised.

It seems the both the example and my plugin work on the latest K2 (2.6.5) when installed on Joomal 2.5.9 but not on Joomla 3.

I'm assuming the xml structure has changed and have tried using Joomla 3.0 format without success.

Are there any plans to upgrade the example plugin?

Can anyone tell me what the format should be?

Hi Peter,

I faced this problem while I'm developing a Joomla 3 version from my Multiple Extra Fields Groups plugin, and struggled with K2 code to find out the correct syntax.

But simply I find it works like this, replace "params" with "fields", and replace "param" with "field" B)

That worked perfectly.

Simple when you know how!
