When clicking a thumbnail within my image gallery, K2 opens the image, but then immediately darkens down the whole page. Please find hereafter the link to my web page where you can experience the issue. Would anybody have an idear on how to solve this ?

You should use JQuery v. 1.8.x instead of 1.9.x, you can change this from K2's parameters.

Sorry, but I am not familiar with the source code. I am just using the Joomla Admin screen to build the site.
It would be really helpful if you could guide me on how to check the source code to identify a potential twice loading.

As I suspected, jQuery is loaded twice.

It must be Simple Image Gallery, go to Plugin manager, locate it and disable the loading of jQuery.

I have migrated to Joomla 3.1.1. and I am again facing the same problem with the pictures of the image gallery opening correctly but then immediately darkening the screen. This time I only have image gallery pro, calling the jquery, and no other image gallery. Would you have an idea, which other component might call the jquery twice ?
