Hi all,

Just a quick question. We manage a news website and each day we publish up to 50 different articles. Each article has an image and we are starting to have issues loading new images to the back-end for publication within a K2 Item. Loading times are much slower and its taking longer for the k2 plugin to recognize that new issues are in the directory.

All images go into the general images directory and I was wondering if we could have too many images in a specific directory. If yes; is it a quantity of files issue, or the size of all the combined files within that directory?

Finally has anyone else had this issue?

Hello JP,

It seems to me that you have to adress this issue with your hosting provider since it is a server related issue,
but yes both quantity and size can have an impact on loading times.
