Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which file I need to edit in order to change the "Rate this item" text?

I would like to keep all of the functionality exactly as it is - I just want to change the wording to "User Rating"

Easiest you do this in Joomla language override. Just go to languages and overrides. Search for "Rate this item" and replace with your own text.

Other way is to modify language file. First method is easier.

Do you know if overriding the language like this will cause any slowing down of page loading times?

I would say this approach is faster if you only have a few lines of text that need to be changed. If you need to edit the whole languagefile i would go with the file-override method.

But I'm guessing here... B)
