Hi,
I have to create a website for a small company, the main thing is to display the product of the company on the website i read about k2 and i´m wondering if this (please see link)

is possible with k2
the website is not a online shop but the following information must be displayed
1) the description of the product in best in a table
2) a form for request ( the product name must be take automatically into the inquiry form)

my question: How can i do this with k2
or do I have to program it myrself?

hi

to start with I really wouldn't use tables as they are very search engine unfriendly. Use the HTML ability in the Joomla! editor to create div tags and then position them in your CSS.

as for the form you want on each page, I cannot really help you with this as I have never used that forms before on my website but I imagine there are lots of form generating modules within the Joomla! extensions catalogue. This is the way I would do it.

Hello Bernd,

K2 has a catalog mode, so you won't need an extension.

All you need to do is setup your extrafields correctly. This requires some code on your part but you look at the code on this thread for reference.

For the forms I think you need to develop or search for a K2 plugin.
