Using joomla 2.5.8 with k2 2.6.5. SEF turned off

All pathways show correctly when view categories and articles. However if a user logs in, and clicks on the link in the mod_k2_user/userblock.php file to view their profile, the route.php file adds a ItemId which means that that the pathway is:

home > category > subcateogy > User Name

The ItemId that is displayed is the last menu id in the database. When a users view their profile I would expect

home > User Name

Am I over looking something? Thanks
