SOLVED - "Email could not be sent"

SOLVED - "Email could not be sent" was created by Ennovative
I found many tips for fixing this problem, but majority are two to three years old, and for J1.5

This is for a Joomla 2.5.9 installation with K2 v2.6.6

This might be a server related issue, also K2 uses com_mailer which is a core Joomla! component.

I switched it to Sendmail instead of phpmailer and it works fine now.
