You've got a real newbie to K2 here. Not to Joomla itself, but to K2, yes.

Here is [url=http:/books.brethrenarchives.com]my site[/url] and it is a fresh install of J2.10. I created a Welcome article for the front page and then installed K2 v2.6.6. I now have two articles, the Joomla article and a copied K2 article with different text.

My Welcome article disappears if I unpublish it and the K2 article never shows. What did I do wrong? :oops: A real in-depth online tutorial for K2 would be a great help to me.

Did you setup your menu correctly?

Don't forget to change your menu items to K2 items. categories etc...

I found my answer in another posting . That kind of demonstrates what I was talking about, a tutorial for us newbies to K2. Heck, I'd even pay money for a good book. Not for online training though.

Now how do I go about setting up the K2 category so that the articles display? Obviously for a front page I do not want them as Read more... links. This will especially come into play when I start creating my K2 articles. It will be for content like this .

The commenting of K2 will be a welcome addition to my articles that display pages from old books.

Again, thank you Krikor. Come to find out it me not completely understanding K2. I repaired the problem I had created on my own.

Now onto learning how to do other things with K2.
