I am working on a comercial guide and would like to use extra fields displayed as introtext. Is it possible?

Enable extra fields in Category view and use text area field with editor.

What I want is that extra field information could be displayed as introtext (fig-01). But by default K2 only displays it after read more click (fig-02). Chek it out at www.promoporto.com.br. I inserted an Item called "teste" in "academias de ginástica" category (the first in the menu).

All items in my site starts with address and telephone clients information and I am inserting them in the content editor directly typing the information. I am lookin forward a way to make it easier and extra fields seems to be the best.

i can tell you what and where to edit if so

the first edit puts it on the bar above intro text, second, puts it before the intro text, and the third puts it between the intro text and full text

In the Category parameters, under the section of: "Item view options in category listings", set "Extra Fields" to Show .

Then customize the category_item.php file to display the extra fields wherever you like.
