If I set a K2 Item to registered, ignoring active hacking, will this prevent that item including its text being viewed by non-registered users in any way, e.g. through Google?

AFAIK, the answer is yes.

Google needs to be provided with login credentials to access such content, I remember there was a way to grant Google access to non-public or not free content, so it can't access or display such content as long as you have not granted it the permissions to do it.

Multiple Extra Fields Groups for K2
AutoMeta for K2
Chained Fields for K2
More K2 Extensions In My Extensions Store

That's what I was hoping, thanks!

If someone could confirm this (since I think you indicated you weren't 100% sure?), I would be very glad!
