[SOLVED] It´s Imposible!!! item.php deleted and still works was created by Alejandro Herrera Styles
Trying to solve my problem with sub-templates, i deleted the item.php file in /components/com_k2/templates/default and the item is still shown!! How is it possible?? Where gets k2 the elements of this item, if there is no template for that???

Thanks in advance!

PS: I´ve cleaned every kind of cache, from the site, browser, windows, everything!!

try here:

\templates\(your template name)\html\com_k2\templates\default\

if there's an item.php file in that folder, then that's what is being used, not the main k2 one

i like to modify things, and make them do unintended things

Eric, thnks for your reply.
But, I have nothing in the mytemplate/html/com_k2/templates folder. I deleted every override I had previously made, so k2 should be reading the default components item.php file, but I deleted it too. That's why it's so weird.
Thank you anyway!!
Alejandro
