I`ve installed a template: www.favthemes.com/themes/product/show/1-favourite-free-responsive-joomla-3-template.html

If I navigate to any category, then category content is draw in unexpected place. I looked in th the sources and found out is that this content is drawn in the:
<div id="fav-maincontent" class="span6">
<jdoc:include type="component" />
</div>

Can anyone explain how is it defined, where will actually K2Container be placed? Should I just move this whole div to the desired position on the page? Or is it possible to assign another position for K2Container?

The K2 component will render where all your components render, meaning where you put <jdoc:include type="component" />.

If you want to move your component area you just have to move this div and the <jdoc:include type="component" />
