Does archiving happen automatically in K2 as it does in wordpress? I am not interested really interested in showing archives. Basically, I am getting page numbers as the number articles on the site increases.
In WordPress, I think they kind of disappear into the archives folder and only the selected number will show.
New to Joomla and K2 so pardon my questions

Items/Posts in Wordpress and K2 are not archived, their status is still published or posted. They can be also found at date listings. In K2 you need a K2 tools module to show the archive listings.

Thanks KB, I did not frame my question very well.
Basically, as I add more items my page number increases for the category within which I am posting. I get Start, Prev, 1, 2, 3 Next, End etc. and I think I would like to hide that if possible.
Please let me if I can do that.

Check your menu settings, you need to turn pagination off.
